Live courses: funds protected in escrow
When a student buys a live course, the money does not reach the teacher right away: it is held in escrow and released following the course calendar, as lessons are delivered. Students are protected if the course does not happen, and teachers see the release schedule in their balance. For on-demand courses the release is immediate.
